So here are a few pictures of my garden and some of the harvest thus far.
Here is most of my garden as of early June. You can see the tomatoes and peppers are closest to the camera. Next are a row of potatoes then broccoli and cauliflower (the cauliflower did not turn out at all). After that are some peas that are now gone. There are tomatillos near the garage and some fava beans along the wall that are also gone.
Here is a better look at the far side. There are onions, beets, carrots, peas, broccoli and cauliflower, and then potatoes.
Here I am with some broccoli that I picked.
Some of my harvest. Peas, broccoli and turnips.
Some nice red potatoes. They were great for roasting on the grill.
A bunch of beets. These were the last of the first planting, but I have some more coming, and I just planted another row for a late harvest.
I picked all of these in the last week or so. There are onions, zucchini, crookneck squash, red and white potatoes and a red carrot.
I plan to keep everyone posted on to how things are going during the summer. Any thoughts or suggestions are always welcome. I hope to post a weekly update along with any ideas or findings I make along the way.
Happy Gardening!
